  • How about testing out your product on our U.S. soldiers on the front lines in Afghanistan?  I've been told that one of the things they miss most is a good cup of coffee.  I am a volunteer for an organization called "Support Our Soldiers" (S.O.S.).  We are currently preparing to send 200+ boxes of gifts to some of our troops in Afghanistan for Christmas (this will be our 3rd year for this project)!  If you would send us a nice supply, we'll be sure to ship them off in late  November, along with lots of other food, snack, clothing and toiletry items.  Once they return to the U.S.A., they'll be anxious to have more!  Thanks for your consideration.

  • Starbucks Via for the Troops

My son in law is in Afghanistan on his third tour.  The first thing he does when he gets back from Afghanistan, is finds himself a Starbucks and has one of his drinks.
Via had just come out when he left and I sent him with a couple boxes and some of the free samples.  Well I cannot keep him stocked up with Via.  I am sending him packages every couple weeks with another couple packages of Via, plus I must admit that I have been overwhelmed with some of the stores that I frequent as a regular.  The baristas have been very generous in giving me free samples to send to the boys overseas.
Thank you again Starbucks for the free samples and if you ever want to send some Via overseas, send it to my son in law, he would be so happy!

  • I am not a big fan of instant coffee and when I do drink it I use the Foldgers Singles.  My son is a Marine and the MRE instant coffee is the absolute worst coffee I have ever drank!  Yuck!  Our men and women in the service do not deserve to swollow what the military calls instant coffee.  I would send my son the foldgers singles in his care packages and they were the hit of package.  After tasting StarbucksVia...my son will now be having even a better treat in is care package.  It is the least I can do for him. For all those people out there sending care packages to our military make sure you include the StarbucksVia instant Coffee!

I would not hesitate to drink StarbucksVia in the morning.  The taste is rich and fresh.  I like a bold coffee and this instant has the punch of a fresh brewed, bold cup of Starbucks coffee.  The convience of having the instant with me allows me to take Starbucks with me to my daughters softball games and enjoy a fresh cup of cofffee where ever I am.  Sometimes I am in an area where there is no Starbucks within 50 miles...ughhhh!  That use to be so distressing, but now I can bring my own convient Starbucks coffee with me.

  • Far out up in the air on a commercial flight is a great way to have Via. Say no to soda or juice when the stewardess comes with the cart, just ask for water and use a packet of Via you just happen to have on your person.

  • Lad Prao Road - Bangkok, Thailand

Via came out the day before I left for a one month trip to Bangkok, Thailand.  Waking up with a cup of Starbucks Via Italian Roast each morning prepared me for a full day of teaching, exploring city sites, and navigating the city traffic!  Awesome city + awesome coffee = awesome adventure!

  • The promo says "Forget what you know about instant coffee" EXACTLY! My mind immediately went back to the days when instant coffee tasted like anything but coffee. I swore off instant coffee a decade ago! I nearly passed up the taste test....Glad they talked me into it! My taste buds couldn't believe it! And now....my backpacking trips will never be the same!! Thanks Starbucks, your VIA was worth the wait!

  • I have tried many instant coffees - mostly when camping, when fresh coffee becomes somewhat of a necessity.  I've never come across one that tastes anywhere close to how a good fresh coffee should, so I typically dump so much creamer and sugar in I can barely taste the coffee-like flavor.  Imagine my surprise when I gave Starbucks VIA a try!  I was amazed at the fresh, gourmet taste and the strength of the coffee aroma.  If I didn't know any better, I would have thought my coffee actually came from a Starbucks shop.  Bravo Starbucks - I may even give VIA a go for purposes other than camping :)

  • Every year I go 'glamping' with friends in Osoyoos.  I use the word 'glamping' as it really isn't camping, we have all the creature comforts in life at the lake, making it glamourous, glamourous camping, glamping....

For next year, our experience will be further glammed up with Starbucks VIA.  It is the perfect addition to our glamping trip!  Easy to take with us, easy to make and so much flavour to enjoy!  In the morning, a steaming hot cup of Starbucks VIA, in the afternoon a tall cold class of iced Starbucks VIA, and in the evening a mug of Starbucks VIA & irish cream liquer....yummy all day!
